showcase category image WordPress as a Contact Manager

One innovative way to use WordPress is as a contact manager. The WP Contact Manager theme enables you to use WordPress in quite an unconventional manner. Take a look at the demo and you will see that you can utilise the post function of WordPress as a contact list.

I have actually used this type of idea myself, although not using this theme, in the form of a client list in another project, some years ago. As it was a private list and contained confidential information, the ‘Ignore Search Engines’ function was enabled and various password scripts put in place to keep it from prying eyes. The advantage of using WordPress in this way is that it is web based and therefore, accessible from any Internet connection, and it is very easy to use. The post, category, tag and search functionality of WordPress makes this an ideal method of adding information for each client/contact in an easy fashion and can be set out in any format, exactly as you choose.
